I'm Alexia. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Apparel and Textile Design. While at KSU, I was the Photo Editor of the student-run magazine, Manahppenin' Magazine, for two years. I was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and served a term as Director of Sisterhood and created one of our recruitment videos.

 

I also started a little photography side hustle, Image By Alexia, while I was still in school. It started with graduation photos for friends and sorority sisters, quickly leading to engagements and weddings. And before I knew it, I spent the summer interning with Mackenzie Smith Photography in Austin, TX—whom I originally met at Manhappenin'.

I spent the next summer interning at a local boutique, Bling Glamour, where I led a Back-to-School campaign photoshoot. After graduating, I spent the summer interning at Kansas City Magazine and building my photography portfolio. By this point, I was doing wedding photography full-time.

I showed two collections at Kansas City Fashion Week,  Spring/Summer 2024 and Fall/Winter 2024. I have previously participated in KCFW as both Media and an Ambassador.

Currently, I'm a wedding photographer for Starr Photo & Video.
